Need a hand?
We typically respond within 1–2 business days. For bug reports, include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, and a short description of what happened. Please don’t send sensitive personal information.
01How do Mindful Reminders work?+
Choose an app or website and set a reminder interval. Once you’ve used it for that long, iOS shows a Bspace shield with two choices: finish for now or continue. If you keep going, another reminder appears after the next interval. Mindful Reminders are separate from your Daily Limit.
02Does Bspace appear before I open an app?+
No. Bspace does not intercept an app when you open it. iOS shows a Screen Time shield when you reach a Mindful Reminder or Daily Limit, or while a Work or Sleep schedule is active. If you need extra time after a Daily Limit, you open Bspace yourself.
03Why does Bspace need Screen Time permission?+
Screen Time permission lets Bspace show usage reminders, apply daily limits, and display activity summaries for the apps, categories, or websites you choose. Apple protects those selections by representing them with opaque tokens.
04Does Bspace see what I do inside other apps?+
No. Bspace does not read your messages, posts, searches, browsing content, passwords, or anything you type inside another app.
05Where is my Screen Time data stored?+
Bspace stores your settings, Screen Time selection tokens, and activity counters locally on your device and, when needed by its extensions, in the app’s Apple App Group. This data is not sent to our servers.
06What happens when I reach a Daily Limit?+
The Screen Time shield remains in place. If you intentionally need more time, open Bspace, complete five breaths, and choose 1–20 extra minutes at a time. You can repeat the process later if needed. Your permanent Daily Limit stays the same, and Mindful Reminders can still appear during the extra time.
07Can Bspace protect websites or app categories?+
Yes. You can protect individual apps and websites. Breathing Space Pro also supports Screen Time categories and multiple protections. Free users can create one individual app or website protection.
08Can I use different boundaries for work and sleep?+
Yes. Work and Sleep schedules can automatically protect the apps, websites, or categories you choose during the recurring times you set. If you need temporary work access, Bspace asks you to complete a breathing pause first.
09How do I manage or cancel my subscription?+
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. You can also select Manage Subscription in Bspace Settings.
10How do I restore a purchase?+
Open Bspace, go to Settings, and choose Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account used for the original purchase.
